I have a strong clinical and senior operational management background, both in the NHS to Trust Board level, within the private sector, including as Chief Operating Officer for a private healthcare company during a time of acquisition and development and as the Head of Healthcare at a leading London prison on behalf of a social enterprise organisation, during which time I developed and established the service through its first year of operation.

More recently, I have gained additional experience as an independent interim manager carrying out short-term contracts across both the private and public sector. These roles have included Chief Executive for a charity owned Nursing Home, managing its recovery and transfer into a larger charity, the management and restructuring of an NHS Child and Adolescent Service, an Estates Options Appraisal for an NHS Trust, Senior Nurse Manager for a private forensic mental health hospital and as healthcare manager across two prison sites.

Currently, I am an Interim Clinical Manager for a secure mental health hospital in the private sector.

Across my career, I have held a wide range of senior nursing, operational management and development roles and I have consistently worked in close partnership with other statutory and non-statutory organisations such as PCTs, Strategic Heath Authorities, Local Authorities, and commercial organisations.

I am a registered nurse, educated to degree level, with an MSc in Forensics and Mental Health and a BSc (Hons) degree in Health Studies.
